The ICT Gyan program conducted jointly by ICT Foundation Nepal and Ncell Foundation has been successfully completed in Sudurpaschim Province.
The program was held on Tuesday at Ghodaghodi Community Secondary School and Ghodaghodi Municipality in Sudurpaschim Province. More than 300 participants including teachers, students, elected representatives, and local residents took part in the event. The program provided literacy on e-governance, digital platforms, and digital skills.
Bishakha Laxmi Khadka, Director of Ncell Foundation and Special Projects, stated that ICT Gyan reaching the provincial level will help reduce the digital divide and promote digital inclusion.
“For Nepal’s digital transformation, it is essential that digital literacy reaches every corner of the country,” she said. “Through ICT Gyan, we are working across provinces to reduce the digital divide and promote inclusion.”
Similarly, Razan Lamsal, Chairperson of ICT Foundation, emphasized that eliminating the digital divide and ensuring accessible information technology can bring sustainable socio-economic change through community-level skill development.
The ICT Gyan Program, initiated as part of Ncell’s corporate social responsibility, is expected to make a significant contribution towards building a digitally inclusive and technology-friendly society across the country.
