Tech Peak Nepal: Orlando 2025 – Nepal’s First-Ever ITES Roadshow in the United States

Nepal is making history in the global technology sector with Tech Peak Nepal: Orlando 2025, the country’s first-ever international IT-enabled Services (ITES) roadshow in the United States.

This landmark event, organized by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in collaboration with the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal), will showcase Nepal’s booming outsourcing and ITES industry on an international platform. This initiative has been made possible due to the visionary leadership of Mr. Ajit Shah, Chairman of the CNI IT Council and Founding Chairman of AmCham Nepal, whose dedication has been instrumental in driving the growth and global recognition of Nepal’s IT sector.

The roadshow is set to take place at the prestigious Shared Services & Outsourcing Week (SSOW) Conference in Orlando, Florida, from March 24–27, 2025. This is a monumental step toward placing Nepal on the global technology map and attracting international investors, clients, and partners to the country’s rapidly growing digital economy. Tech Peak Nepal: Orlando 2025 is not just another tech event—it is a defining moment for Nepal’s IT sector. Nepal has seen a massive surge in IT services exports in recent years, and this roadshow is set to amplify that growth further.

This event aims to position Nepal as a prime global destination for ITES and outsourcing investments by showcasing Nepal’s IT talent, outsourcing potential, and government-backed business-friendly policies. In 2022 alone, Nepal exported IT services worth $515.4 million, marking a 64.2% increase from 2021. IT and ITES have now become Nepal’s leading export sector, significantly contributing to the country’s foreign exchange reserves and overall economy. This sector now contributes significantly to Nepal’s economy, accounting for 1.4% of the country’s GDP and 5.5% of foreign exchange reserves. The country is home to over 106 IT export service companies and thousands of talented freelancers in software development and ITES.

In the first four months of the current fiscal year, Nepal’s income from IT service exports surged by 20.28%, bringing in Rs 6.69 billion, an increase of Rs 1.13 billion compared to the same period last year. This steady rise in exports demonstrates Nepal’s growing potential as a tech hub and a key player in the global outsourcing industry. Likewise, with these impressive numbers, Tech Peak Nepal: Orlando 2025 is an opportunity to capitalize on this momentum and create new partnerships that will further fuel Nepal’s digital transformation. Recognizing the immense potential of the IT and ITES industry, the Government of Nepal has officially declared 2024-2034 as the ‘Decade of Information Technology.’

This ambitious vision aims to generate employment for 1.5 million people directly and indirectly and achieve IT service exports worth NPR 3 trillion within ten years. The government’s commitment to fostering digital growth aligns seamlessly with Tech Peak Nepal: Orlando 2025, reinforcing Nepal’s position as a rising tech hub ready to integrate into the global economy. This roadshow will serve as a platform to attract international investors, forge strategic partnerships, and accelerate Nepal’s IT revolution.
